Our Location

Rochford in Essex - a village steeped in history - Ann Boleyn lived nearby (now the home of Rochford Golf Club) and Henry VIII used to hunt over the Rochford Hundreds. Originally it was a small farming community, and still retains a delightful village atmosphere.

Oue eye care team extends a warm welcome to you

A warm welcome to our practice!

Our eye examinations include:

recording of symptoms and visual history
an assessment of visual function (standard of vision & refraction)
visual field assessment
assessment of binocular vision (stereopsis, muscle coordination)
tonometry (pressure testing)
ophthalmoscopy (internal health assessment)
colour vision assessment
full advice with regard to ocular health, visual requirements in relation to occupation and lifestyle.

This list is far from exhaustive, further tests being included as symptoms and findings dictate. We do allow a minimum of 30 minutes to carry out your eye examination, and will discuss our findings with you clearly and in depth. As some of the tests may seem a little mysterious to you we welcome you asking questions during the examination. We are always happy to explain what we are doing - there is no need to be left in the dark, if you will forgive the pun! children's eye care is a priority

We specialise in paediatric eye care, and run regular diabetic screening clinics.

Fashion frames and a caring eyecare service

Hours	8.30 am - 5.30 pm Monday - Saturday Clinics outside these hours by special arrangement.
Industrial Screening	We run an on-site screening service for employers to help them comply with the relevant regulations and safety issues relating to VDU/DSE usage. Please enquire.
